Lobster_pro is a software for process automation. But of course, processes require data and processes also generate data! Two sides of the same coin. Therefore, data exchange with third-party systems in Lobster_pro is carried out via the integrated middleware Lobster_data: communication with partners and systems regardless of the data format and channel. While Lobster_data takes care of the communication layer, Lobster_pro handles the data storage and process layer.

Lobster continuously updates its software products and carefully checks all the components to ensure they are secure and up-to-date. Best practices such as the OWASP Top 10 are observed, and penetration tests are regularly conducted by an independent service provider.

An important component in this regard is the database, which is why Lobster_pro supports all common and especially clustered database systems, implements very large DB systems through the synergy of Lobster_data and Lobster_pro itself, and also covers high peak loads with good performance.
