Lobster held its own during our selection process with seven other suppliers and ultimately came out on top. Lobster_data allows us to take charge of our entire e-commerce operations – from product data management and inventory inquiries to orders and shipping all the way to tracking and invoicing.
LOACKER BELIEVES IN LOBSTER.
As a manufacturer of wafers and baked goods with a workforce of over 1,000 employees, exporting to more than 100 countries, Loacker was juggling several software solutions to manage its mission-critical ERP, MES, PIM, DAM and e-commerce processes. Costs were soaring, not least due to the media discontinuities and necessary manual readjustments. To address these challenges, the company launched a tender process to find one central data integration solution to orchestrate all relevant systems for pre-emptive, demand-driven business process planning and management.
Thanks to our digitalisation solutions for digital transformation, data integration, API management, process automation, cloud, big data, EDI and EAI, we were in the perfect position to offer the company a solution that ticked all their boxes. Our centralised approach to data integration, we can easily incorporate all EAI and EDI processes and connect all manner of systems with an ERP. Lobster_data comes with all common industry standards and data exchange protocols included, so implementation is straightforward and effective.
Further advantages of the solution include elevated process transparency and traceability through the solution’s automatic documentation feature as well as real-time error handling and proactive reporting supportes by the integrated control centre. In addition, the customer was able to develop all manner of interfaces cost-effectively and independently. Thanks to Lobster_data, Loacker has not achieved its goal of optimising its processes. The company has also taken significant steps to improve its performance.
