We’re delighted to have found a fast, stable and versatile integration solution in Lobster_data. It’s just as integral to our set-up as our SAP systems.
KARWENDEL BELIEVES IN LOBSTER.
Karwendel was looking to handle its retailers’ logistics processes digitally – which meant being able to work with a large number of different data formats. Lobster helped the manufacturer of dairy & cream cheese products find a customisable solution that met its exact requirements.
With the support of our data integration tool, changes were implemented within minutes – even without programming skills. The customer was able to become independent of external service providers and use an open data communication system with rapid troubleshooting and error resolution within a wizard-driven interface. All manner of interface checkpoints, alternative response paths in case of errors and SMS or email warnings were no problem either.
Thanks to the straightforward integration within the IBM i-environment and by meeting all HA requirements, Karwendel was able to ensure a stable data exchange with all manner of processes, high data volumes, different platforms and last-minute changes to the transmitted data structure. With our tool, the company is now able to convert 10,000 EDIFACT documents in just five minutes.
In summary, Lobster was able to offer a GS-1-compliant converter that made it easier to connect with retailers. With connections to SAP ERP, AS400, DB2, Web Services, MS SQL and data formats such as IDoc, INVOIC, ORDERS, SHPMN, DESADV, DLVRY, XML, fixed records, CSV and protocols like FTP, X.400, AS2 and AMTP, our tool was uniquely positioned to support Karwendel digitalise its business processes and optimise its data exchange.
